Information systems are vital to todays highly integrated global companiesand that is certainly true at Textron. Our LDP for information technology participants is sponsored by the Information Management Council, which is comprised of Textron's Chief Information Officer and the CIOs from each of our businesses. They are the most senior technology experts in the companypeople who share a passion for building a pipeline of future leaders in Textron's global IT organization.

During the two years of the program, you will rotate through two different business units or the corporate office. Each 12-month rotation is purposely focused on a different aspect of information technology to provide you with a solid and broad base of skills and experiences. Heavy emphasis is placed on the development of project management skills and methodology. You’ll travel to our businesses for training throughout the program. The LDP curriculum provides content relevant to your development as an information technology professional and as a potential leader. Throughout the LDP experience, you will have numerous opportunities to engage the Information Management Council and business unit leaders, as well as to network with your peers.
